After a decades-long friendship, Jensey and Casi have started a travel agency!
Short story long:
At precisely 2:30pm in April of 2003, at the Winnie-the-Pooh ride in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Jensey met Casi. They were on their Disney College Program and Jensey was sent to relieve Casi so she could go on break. (The specific position was called “Pooh Unload,” and they both feel like it’s important to note that.)
It wasn’t exactly love-at-first-meet; Jensey mistakenly called her “CASS-ee” instead of “CASE-ee” and Casi was suffering from a severe case of hangry. Casi didn’t correct Jensey with the tone one would expect, given they were both dressed in polyester lederhosen attire and meeting at an attraction inspired by a beloved British teddy bear! One night they both worked until 2am and were starving when their shift ended. They decided to hit up the 24 hour Perkins next to their apartment complex. It was over some lemonade and a cinnamon roll that they bonded immediately over their shared loves of Seinfeld and everything Audrey Hepburn… but let’s be honest, anyone can become best friends when sharing a Perkins cinnamon roll! (:
Soon their middle of the night closing shifts went from something they dreaded to the start of a friendship spanning decades. A few pounds, kids, and wrinkles later, Casi convinced Jensey to join the travel agency where she’d been working. They learned a lot, and it wasn’t long before they started talking about how they would love to make this a full-time gig someday. They started dreaming of possibilities and brand colors and before they knew it, they started the process of making things official!
Named after Casi’s son Odin and Jensey’s son Ollie, “Odin Ollie Travel” was born. Their sons are a constant reminder to find the adventure, sweet, and silly in the everyday. They’re so excited to see where this particular adventure leads! (:
